It's Your Government. Listen in.

You can listen to the debate (ANY debate) by going to the Official Senate Site.
  • Click on 'Sound From Session'
  • Choose the 2006 Legislative Session (or any other session)
  • Select the day of session (or the bill number).
If, for example, you want to listen to today's debate on Senator Buttars' SB 69, you could go to the sound page, select the 2006 General Legislative Session option from the first drop-down menu, then select Day 5 (1/20/2006), and click on SB 96 - Buttars.

I can listen to floor sessions, but not committee sessions.

Anybody else on the outside having this problem?

I am not sure where you are trying to get to the committee audio but they show a live link as the are broadcast live on the main legislature's home page le.utah.gov.

If you want to find a recording for a meeting after the meeting is concluded, go to the committee's page. (The most common ways to get to a committee's page is from the calendar toward's the bottom of the home page or from the committee menu on near the upper left corner of the home page.) Click on the appropriate audio link.

I just read some other comments on other items an realized that your problem is likely technical as opposed to a problem of finding the links. Did not mean to insult, sorry.

Send an email to the legislative webmaster legisweb@uath.gov with info on the errors you are getting and the staff may be able to help.
