Midvale Mayor Joann Seghini wants nothing to do with a new school district so that leaves three cities that are getting ever more interested in pursuing the idea! Mike Bennett presented his study to the third city council in as many weeks. Sandy City enthusiastically received the report. In fact they are considering putting it on this November's ballot. Rumor has it that Jordan District may be considering putting a large bond on the ballot so the city council is requesting a formal statement from the District as to what their intentions are. Further bond obligations would limit the feability of creating a new district. Watch and see if Cottonwood Heights and Draper follow suit and pursue a November vote.
