Jeff Alexander's Replacement
This comes by way of the House Majority Site: "The Utah Republican Party Chairwoman, Enid Greene, chose the replacement for retired House member Jeff Alexander this afternoon. Chris Herrod was named as the new legislator to represent House District 62...."
[Update:] Craig Frank gives a brief report in Under the Dome.

Wow. Once again the Party shows how corrupt they are. Sadly instead of chosing who the delegates had supported our corrupt system instead picked who Bramble wanted.
I am very disapointed that someone will now represent us in District 62 who was chosen purely by the Bramble Machine. Hats off to you Bramble one more feather in your cap, full of feathers stabbing the people in the back!
Expect a Legal Challenge now. I've been told there is something going to be filed soon.
The legal question is, did acting Vice Chair Enid Greene actually have the right to name the replacement without consulting the Executive or State Central Commitee.
This may not be over yet.
