Doubletake
It's no secret that Google is uncomfortable with Utah's Trademark Protection Law. Maybe it's a bad law. Maybe it's not. We're open to the discussion. Nonetheless . . . try to purchase the keyword "google" on Google and this pops up:

Okay, that's funny.
Yeah, that's pretty amusing. It doesn't change the fact that this law would hurt consumers, would violate interstate trade laws, and the only apparent beneficiaries are the State of Utah and some businesses. If we were out to protect Google, that would be different, but that's not the issue.
I agree that it's a blatantly unconstitutional law designed to favor special interests and makes Utah look goofy. But it's still funny.
