We received this from the Governor's Office. The Senate Minority Leader posted this.
The new senator will be sworn in on the first day of the legislative session. [UDATE:] We moved Senator Mayne's swear-in date to Wednesday, January 16th, so her district would have a vote in appropriations sub-committee meetings that day. It will be the first official action in the newly restored and remodeled and restored Senate Chamber. Call us if you need more information.
