Okay . . . So we host the press in the Senate President's office with the Senate Majority Leadership every day after floor sessions. Today, we had a budget press conference across the hall in the lounge so I'm thinking . . . "Hey. Why move? Lets do it all here."

Well... I forgot to tell ALL of the press.

A couple of anxious reporters rushed right into the Senate President's office, thinking they were late for the media session. Instead, they walked into a closed door negotiation. The backside you see below blocking the door (post-reporter interruptions) belongs to the Chief Deputy of the Senate, Ric Cantrell.
