NCSL: New Life for Online Government

Ignore this post. We're sharing a little information at the Friday, 8:00 a.m. session of NCSL's Annual Meeting* and I need an easily accessible place to stash the links. We may live stream part of it, depending on what connections are available, so feel free to drop in and post your comments.

Why are the lights on in the President's Office? Should we be saving electricity?

Hey Ric, is anyone who went to NOLA going to post any pics up on the Senate Site?

Hi VilaD - We have a few good pics but I was saving them for blackmail. :-)

Most of the week was intellectually stimulating but visually boring (panelists, conference attendees at tables, big screens, etc.) The most interesting pics were the areas of the 9th Ward hit by Katrina. I wasn't planning on putting them on line but can send them if you are interested.

Hello Ric,

LOL....I love blackmail.

Thanks for offering to send me the pics you have.

I don't know if any one else would be interested in the pics of the 9th ward. I happen to like seeing pictures of NOLA that document the devastation caused by Katrina and the gradual reconstruction that is slowly, but surely, occurring.

To be truthful, I would not be interested in seeing pictures of a bunch of legislators sitting around a table, but the pictures of the 9th Ward are always good to see. Pictures like that always help to remind me how lucky I am, and that I should be thankful for it.

If it's not any trouble for you, I really wouldn't mind seeing the pics taken in the 9th Ward.

Thanks again,

vila
