Clean air is a topic that hits close to home for many if not all Utah residents. This weekend, over 5,000 people came to the capitol building to protest in favor of clean air legislation. Several of our own senators have taken this issue on themselves.
Senator Weiler is a co-chair of the clean air caucus. He works with dozens of other committee members, constituents and other groups and causes to continue building the way to cleaner air for Utah residents.
Senator Dayton is sponsoring a bill [not yet numbered] for Clean Fuel Tax Exemption for motorcyclist. This bill was initiated by a constituent in Senator Dayton’s district. This bill would allow a discount on fuel efficient motorcycles.
Senator Jenkins is sponsoring SB69: Clean-Burning Fuel for Motor Pools which would establish certain efficiencies on all government vehicles. If passed, this bill would expand the number of vehicles that are clean burning.
